District 18 Environmental Assessment

The Fort Defiance Agency Branch of Natural Resources anticipates a new FY27 contract to support the District 18 Environmental Assessment. The purpose of this requirement is to help the Agency understand current environmental conditions within District 18 so it can make informed decisions about land use, resource management, and future project planning. Under this contract, the contractor will provide environmental assessment services, including collecting field data, reviewing existing resource information, and preparing assessment documentation that meets federal standards. These services directly support the Agency’s mission to manage and protect natural resources. The work will help ensure that land‑management decisions are based on accurate, science‑supported information that benefits the community and supports responsible use of trust lands.
