Converting composting toilets to vault toilets

As part of the ongoing efforts by the Tonto National Forest to achieve a more sustainable Recreation program the Tonto Basin Ranger District has identified five recreation sites to convert their original composting toilets into vault toilets. The composting units and the waste shall be safely disposed of in appropriate facilities outside the Forest Service land. In place of the composting containers the Contractor shall build vaults units.
