Description
The ITS JPO requires a digital platform featuring interactive GIS maps and AI chatbots to help stakeholders track transportation deployments and access technical data. The mapping component will expand existing V2X deployment tracking to include automated vehicles, AI, and other emerging technologies while monitoring national plan metrics. Concurrently, specialized AI chatbots utilizing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) will provide accurate, cited answers derived from official USDOT databases and reports, supporting the ITS Deployment Evaluation Program and V2X initiatives.
