Description
The Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Architecture Program (ARC-IT) provides reference models and tools for interoperable, cross-jurisdictional ITS installations nationwide. Covering 150+ services, it currently integrates automated vehicles, multi-modal transportation, and connectivity standards. This project expands the architecture with new services, enhanced security, and improved detail. It also delivers technical support to state and local implementers, coordinates with USDOT deployment initiatives, and leverages international cooperation on automation and security.
