Description
This project will remove and properly dispose of the inner lagoon dock at Bartlett Cove in Glacier Bay National Park. The dock, which consists of creosote-treated timber piles, pier structures, and floating components, has been identified as an underutilized asset that no longer serves a critical function. The structure is deteriorating, posing environmental risks due to the leaching of creosote chemicals into the water, as well as safety concerns for park staff and visitors.
