Description
The Contractor shall provide continuous, independent construction inspection services (CI) to ensure compliance that the Energy Service Company (ESCO) and its subcontractors meet technical specifications, design documents, safety protocols, and USCG requirements for all ECMs implemented under the Base Kodiak UESC. These measures range across multiple disciplines, electrical, mechanical, civil, and utility infrastructure, and include boiler and steam system upgrades, building envelope improvements, electrical distribution enhancements, and process system upgrades. Coordination between all projects is necessary. Construction inspection requirements for this project include labor, material, equipment, mobilization, demobilization, quality control services and ancillary items required to oversee and verify construction progress for the new and upgraded facilities and infrastructure improvements. Inspection services will span the entire UESC construction duration estimated at approximately 24-30 months, from construction planning and site preparation, through equipment installation, and ultimately to commissioning and acceptance. The inspection services will be coordinated by the COR and/or KO assigned and the CI will be in contact with the COR on a daily basis to provide updates of all project progress and problems.
