Network Contracting Office 6 awarded a new firm-fixed-price sole-source contract to Yerkes South, Inc. for construction services to Renovate Prosthetics at the Asheville VA Medical Center in accordance with VAAR 819.7008. The authority cited for this sole-source acquisition allows for sole-source awards to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) under 38 U.S.C. 8127(c). Yerkes South, Inc. was determined to be a responsible source with respect to performance and meets the eligibility requirements specified in VAAR 819.7003 (DEVIATION).
