Wisconsin State Park System Visitor Count Estimates

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Bureau of Parks and Recreation Management (PRM) is currently exploring technology and data components to estimate visitor counts at Wisconsin State Park System (WSPS) properties on a daily, monthly, and annual basis. PRM is envisioning using “crowdsource data”, as provided at cost by a yet undetermined vendor, as one component of a future method to estimate visitor counts at WSPS properties.
