ADV E RTI S EMEN T F OR BIDS ADV E RTI S EMEN T F OR BIDS Ozaukee County Radio Tower Decommissioning Sealed bids will be received by Ozaukee County until 11:00 AM ( l ocal t i m e ) on Thursday, August 20 th , 2026 at the Ozaukee County Clerk’s Office, 121 W Main St, Port Washington, WI. At that time, all bids will be pub l ic l y opened and r ead aloud. Ozaukee County s eeks a qualified Contractor for the con s t r uction project for the Ozaukee County Radio Tower Decommissioning . The Scope of Services includes the decommissioning of an old Radio Tower, and the removal of existing equipment from old tower and installation on the adjacent new tower, and the removal of obsolete equipment from multiple radio services buildings within Ozaukee County. Prequalification of Bidders will not be required. A pre-submittal conference will be held on August 10 th at 10am at the Ozaukee County Mee-Kwon Radio Tower site, at 6333 W Bonniwell Road, Mequon, Mee-Kwon Park Golf Course. If th e Contractor fails to execute and file s u ch contract a n d b o nd, the am ount of the check or b on d shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. No bid shall be withdrawn after the bid openi n g w ithout t he consent of Ozaukee County f o r a period o f sixty ( 60) d a ys after the time of opening. Each Con t ractor agrees upon sub m ission of a prop o sal that if t h e same be accepted within said t i m e per i od, contractor shall be bound by the te r m s of acceptance hereinafter contained. Ozaukee County reserves the right to reject any or a ll bids, t o waive any technica l ity, and to accept any bid dee m ed to be in the best interest of Ozaukee County . The successful Contractor will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond in the s um of the full a m ount of t h e contract.
