Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this request for information/sources sought notice to identify companies that have the resources and capabilities to provide a replacement door closer in the morgue for the Clarksburg VA Medical Center. The Louis A Johnson VAMC has the need to sole source the Procurement of the Morgue Door Closer that serves staff with a safe entrance and exit to the morgue. Description of work: The contractor shall provide all parts to install the new door closer and to furnish door equipment itemized as follows: One ADA opener with push plates and pull arm to meet NFPA 101, and supply and install SW 100 pull operator with push plates. All labor for the service technicians to make the necessary installation and programming. Travel to and from Louis A. Johnson VAMC. The Louis A Johnson VAMC shall provide 1 Locksmith for the purpose of oversight of the repairs, 1 Electrician for the purpose of shutting off power to the doors, to include the Lock Out/Tag Out materials for the breaker, and infection Control Barriers if required by Infection Prevention Staff. Technical Qualifications: Contractor must be qualified to operate within an active healthcare facility without compromising air quality or spreading biological contaminants. Must have ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessment) Training, OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification, and Understanding of NFPA 101 (Life Safety Code).
