Schulstad U.S. Army Reserve Center, with a physical address of 1515 West Central Road, Arlington Heights, Cook County, Illinois, and as indicated.SUMMARY OF WORKBase BidThe Base bid work includes, but is not limited to, demolition; directionaldrilling; trenching; installing a new water connection to the Village ofArlington Heights watermain; installing a water service and main lines;installing gate valves, vaults, meters, and boxes; chlorination testing ofthe new water system; removing and capping fire hydrants; installing newfire hydrants; HMA patching of ACC pavement; repairing concrete sidewalksand drives; investigating and repairing a section of leaking previouslyabandoned watermain; seeding disturbed areas; and site restoration.Option AThe work for Option A includes, but is not limited to, demolition;directional drilling; excavation; installing a new water connection to theVillage of Arlington Heights watermain; plugging the existing connection;installing gate valves, vaults, meters, and boxes; chlorination testing ofthe new water system; HMA patching of ACC pavement; repairing concretesidewalks and drives as needed; seeding disturbed areas; and siterestoration.
