Request Seawall Data Room Access

Project Description: The City of Seattle, through its Department of Transportation (SDOT) and Office of the Waterfront, Civic Projects and Sound Transit (OWCPST), is preparing to issue a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) in Q4 2026 for design and environmental services to advance the project readiness of Phase 2 of the Elliott Bay Seawall Project (Seawall Phase 2), including but not limited to updating and advancing the existing 35% design, environmental approvals and permitting completed to date. Seawall Phase 2 would repair and replace the aging seawall along Seattle’s downtown waterfront from approximately Virginia Street to Broad Street (North Seawall), integrating with the northern border of the recently completed Phase 1 of the Seawall and Central Waterfront projects at about Virginia Street and extending north towards Broad Street and the Olympic Sculpture Park. The project is anticipated to be federally funded in part through a FEMA PDM-CDS grant.
