Statewide DBOOM EVSE RFP

The Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) is seeking competitive proposals for the design, construction, ownership, operation, and maintenance of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, also referred to as electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE), at locations along Vermont’s designated Alternative Fuel Corridors (AFCs) and at eligible community locations outside of highway corridors. This Request for Proposals (RFP) is intended to build upon previously installed and contracted-to-be built Direct Current Fast Charging (DCFC) EVSE and further establish a reliable, convenient, and accessible network of fast EV charging stations throughout Vermont. The project will support the continued adoption of electric vehicles while expanding equitable access to EV charging infrastructure and associated economic opportunities. This RFP is issued only to Proposers that were shortlisted through VTrans’ April 16, 2024, and June 30, 2025, Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) and approved to submit a Proposal. Accordingly, this opportunity is limited to those firms identified on VTrans’ prequalified list of EVSE providers.
