RFP for Asphalt Addition to Wolcott Ballcourt

The Town of Wolcott is seeking bids from qualified contractors for asphalt paving work at the existing recreation court located on School Street in Wolcott, Vermont. Project Location: School Street Recreation Court (Wolcott Recreational Field across street and south of Wolcott Fire Department) Bidders are responsible for reviewing site conditions and submitting a complete proposal that itemizes all 1) labor, 2) materials, 3) equipment, 4) incidentals necessary to complete the work, and 5) dates available to complete the work. The Town of Wolcott is tax exempt. Scope of Work Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to complete the asphalt work. Extend the existing recreation court by approximately: 16 feet x 78 feet Total expansion area: approximately 1,248 square feet Apply a 1-inch asphalt overlay to the entire court surface: Court dimensions: approximately 64 feet x 78 feet Total area: approximately 4,992 square feet Ensure smooth transitions between existing and new asphalt surfaces. Compact asphalt to industry standards and provide a finished surface suitable for recreational court surfacing. Site preparation is not included in this bid. All excavation, grading, and base preparation will be completed prior to paving. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding process.
