Reappraisal Request for Proposals

The Town of Wardsboro, Vermont is seeking to engage a professional appraisal firm to provide a comprehensive town-wide reappraisal for the municipality. The town has 1008 taxable parcels and a current taxable grand list of $2,379,378.10. Please include the proposed dates for commencement and completion of the appraisal work. The selected firm will be expected to prepare for and participate in grievance hearings, as well as hearings before the Board of Civil Authority (BCA). Responsibilities will also extend to appeals before the State Appraiser or the Superior Court, including all necessary preparation and representation. We are using ProVal Appraisal Software at this time; if you will require the town to use a different program, please include the annual cost of the software as well as cost of the transition in your proposal.
