MIL DEPT - Integrated Wildland Fire Management

Contractors are invited to offer a bid on an Integrated Wildland Fire Management Plan (IWFMP). The contractor will prepare a comprehensive document to cover the Ethan Allen Firing Range, Jericho, VT and Camp Johnson, Colchester, VT. The plans shall satisfy National Guard Bureau (NGB) Wildland Fire Management Program guidance and provide a comprehensive framework for wildfire prevention, preparedness, fuels management, prescribed fire, and wildfire response, while supporting the military training mission and stewardship of natural resources. Email bids to Mil.BidProposals@vermont.gov and contract representative, ryan.ochs@vermont.gov by Thursday, September 10, 2026, by 4:00pm, at which time they will be opened. Any bids emailed with a time/date or received in person later than the above deadline will not be considered. Questions must be submitted in writing by email to the contract representative no later than Thursday, September 3, 2026, by 4:00pm. Every attempt will be made to resolve questions that may arise during the proposal period but in the absence of this, the Contractor is advised to provide a proposal that is directly responsive to this RFP.
