Weapons Simulator Training System

**** This is NOT a solicitation. Sources sought for information and planning purposes to identify qualified sources for an anticipated Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Single Award, contract action. List any applicable contract vehicles such as Seaport NxG, GSA, etc. This is a request for information only and it is requested that all interested vendors submit capability statement(s), specification sheets, Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) for lease and purchase, and evidence of related past performance in response to this notice by email to: lateasha.e.cunningham.civ@us.navy.mil **** Please refer to the attached Draft PWS for complete requirement details. General: Commander, Naval Surface Force, Atlantic (COMNAVSURFLANT) is responsible for ensuring sailors can perform critical Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP). The Ship Security Forces (SSF) onboard these ships require weapons qualifications and semi-annual sustainment qualification training in accordance with (IAW) OPNAVINST 3591.1G (Small Arms Training and Qualifications) to perform the mission. OPNAVINST 3591.1G encourages the use of simulator systems for virtual firearm training to be used to develop and certify team firearm proficiency and individual firearm qualifications prior to live fire drills. The government is considering one of two options based on the information obtained from this SSN. The government is requesting a ROM to lease a Weapons Simulator Training System (WSTS) with ongoing support services and a ROM to purchase a WSTS with support services. The Contractor shall provide system technical, maintenance, and training support for COMNAVSURFLANT Norfolk, VA office, and possibly the Mayport, FL office. Description of Requirement: The contractor shall provide the brand name or equal alternative virtual WSTS that enables sailors to develop proficiency in small arms weapons and include training, maintenance support in accordance with the Draft PWS as required for the duration of the contract. Include detailed spec sheet for WSTS for the equal offer. Period of Performance: The anticpated period of performance for support shall be for one (1) Base Year of 12 months, four (4) 12-month option years, and one (1) 6-month optional period starting January 4, 2027.
