Description
M67854-26-D-1007 Intent to Sole Source The Portfolio Acquisition Executive Marine Corps (PAE MC) Program Manager Ground Weapons Systems (PM GWS) Product Manager Infantry Weapons (PdM IW) Air and Amphibious Reconnaissance (AAR) team intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract to Skydive Orange, Inc. (11269 Hangar Road, Orange VA, 22960). The AAR team requires aircraft blade hours, as well as parachute and paraloft facility support services to support the training and testing of various personnel parachute and aerial delivery systems (See Table 1). The AAR team requires a facility located within 60 miles from Marine Corps Base Quantico to make it possible to support short notice missions (traditional day trips) and required parachute proficiency training for individuals stationed in the National Capital Region holding “jump” billets. This action falls under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6.302-1(b)(1)(ii).
