Walnut Hollow Landslide

The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is for the Virginia Department of Energy/Abandoned Mined Land Repurposing Program to obtain sealed bids for reclamation/ construction work on the Walnut Hollow Landslide Project located at 1192 Walnut Hollow Road Grundy, VA 24614.The work to be performed under the terms of the Specifications consists of the construction of erosion and sediment control measures as directed, construction of and eventual removal of a scarp area, installation of a mine portal closure (wet seal), installation of a Segmental Retaining Wall (SRW) and chain link fence, paving, driveway area upgrading, and the revegetation of all disturbed areas on the site known as the Walnut Hollow Landslide Project for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
