Traffic Signal Detection Upgrades (UPC 115370)

The purpose of this project is to upgrade vehicle detection systems at ten (10) signalized intersections. Existing low performing video and/or inductive loop stop bar detection systems will be replaced with modern detection devices that provide multi-functional capabilities to include presence detection, advanced detection, and traffic monitoring. In order to be considered for award, all prospective bidders shall be pre-qualified with the Virginia Department of Transportation in accordance with Section 102.01 of VDOT’s 2020 Road and Bridge Specifications.
