RFP 26500030 Compensation Study

This Request for Proposal seeks to solicit proposals to establish a contract through competitive negotiations for a comprehensive compensation study for the Town of Christiansburg, Virginia. The Town invites qualified firms to provide proposals to conduct a comprehensive compensation and classification study to evaluate the Town’s current classification and pay structures as compared to similar municipalities and in the private sector where applicable. It is expected that the study will indicate what actions should be taken to avoid loss of qualified staff and difficulties in recruiting new employees for Town employment, while competitively compensating its current employees. It is also expected that the study will recommend adjustments to the Town’s pay plan and salary structure to rectify any compression/equity issues.
