The Town of Dumfries endeavors to conduct an Inventory of Housing Stock Plan to promote the development of high-quality, safe and affordable housing options, a goal adopted in the Town’s Comprehensive Plan.The Town’s vision related to housing is to preserve existing neighborhoods while pursuing opportunities to expand the supply of safe, accessible, high-quality, and affordable housing options through infill development, renovations of existing housing, and integrating new residential options as part of redevelopment opportunities.
