The purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to solicit sealed proposals fromqualified offerors to establish a term contract(s) through competitive negotiation for theprovision and administration of psychological evaluation and testing services for FairfaxCounty Police Department, Fire and Rescue, and Sheriff’s Office.The services described herein shall include, but are not limited to, the psychologicalassessment and evaluation of applicants seeking employment as Police Officers, DeputySheriffs, Firefighters, Emergency Communications Personnel, Professional Staff, andother public safety positions within Fairfax County agencies. Such services shall alsoextend to incumbent employees, including sworn and professional staff personnel, who areseeking assignment, promotion, transfer, certification, or retention in specialized positionsor units. Specialized assignments may include, but are not limited to, tactical teams, specialoperations units, or those determined by the County or participating department/agency.
