RFP 02-1214-26 Pre-Audit and Accounting Services from Certified Public Accounting Firms for the City of Williamsburg

The City is seeking proposals from qualified Certified Public Accounting firms with experience with local governments in Virginia to assist with certain pre-audit and accounting services for the City’s funds and pre-audit and accounting services for HTRFA for the FY2026 external audit. Firms must have the authority to conduct business in Virginia and key engagement personnel must be licensed to practice in Virginia.Pre-audit and accounting services include assistance with the implementation of GASBS 103 and 104, assistance with preparing journal entries for lease and subscription-based information technology arrangement (SBITA) and updating related notes to the financial statements.
