Description
The Norfolk Naval Shipyard Code 920 requires the manufacturing, delivery, and on-site installation of custom heat shielding for an industrial furnace. Industrial Furnace Heat Shielding Project: The purpose of this project is to protect critical operational components from excessive heat exposure when the furnace doors are opened at high temperatures. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tooling, and supervision necessary to fabricate and install insulated stainless steel heat shields for the door mast, lift seal cylinder, cart drive, and cart power reel. The contractor is responsible for shipping, mechanical installation, re-assembly of components, field painting, and full compliance with Federal, State, and Norfolk Naval Shipyard OSHE safety regulations throughout the performance period
