James City County sponsors a group medical and prescription drug plan for full-time employees and pre-65 retirees. This self-insured program consisting of two medical options with prescription drug coverage and reinsurance protection is currently administered by Sentara Health Plans. The Dental Coverage is with Delta Dental of Virginia and offers employees three (3) plan options – two PPO options and an Exclusive Provider Option (EPO). James City County reserves the right to award the medical and prescription drug contracts as well as the HSA administrator contract separately to different offerors. Offerors may quote on medical and prescription drug, medical only, dental only, HSA only, stop loss only, or prescription drug only. PROPOSALS ARE REQUESTED TO BE QUOTED NET OF COMMISSIONS.
