Description
The Virginia Department of Corrections (VADOC) is seeking information to discover market availability to guide its decision-making regarding implementation of an Offender Management System (OMS).VADOC is interested in assessing the feasibility of moving to a modularized, modern OMS. The goals of moving to a new OMS include:⢠Improved performance and efficiency⢠Enhanced cybersecurity⢠Increased flexibility and scalability⢠Improved user experience⢠Cost savings⢠Business agility and innovation⢠Integration with modern tools and technologies⢠Better data management and analytics⢠Support for mobile and cloud-based solutions⢠Improved collaboration and communicationFor the purposes of this RFI, VADOC defines an OMS as a comprehensive, data-driven platform used by correctional and parole agencies to track, manage, and support individuals throughout the criminal justice lifecycle â from intake and incarceration to rehabilitation and reentry into the community-to-community supervision.
