The project is described as performing all grass maintenance services for the BAAF Airfield located in Blackstone, Va. Monthly mowing of approximately 620 acres for grass heights from 5” – 8” inches in length. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be at 11:00AM on May 13, 2026 at the Blackstone Army Airfield located at Dominy Corner Road, Blackstone, VA 23824. Entrance to Fort Pickett requires all occupants of the vehicle to present a Real ID at the gate before gaining entrance. Please make sure that all drivers and passengers meet this requirement.
