Agribusiness Technical Assistance Consulting Services

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified consultants to establish a contract through competitive negotiation for the purchase of technical business and grant assistance in agribusiness services to the agency’s potential and current clients and applicants. The selected offeror will support rural economic development and agribusiness growth in the Virginia Tobacco Region by working at the direction of TRRC to provide informational meetings on agribusiness topics, feasibility studies, strategic and business planning services, application and post-award assistance for grant opportunities through USDA and other funding sources, as well as guidance on seeking financing though TRRC and other private, state and federal sources.
