The City of San Marcos is soliciting sealed Statements of Qualifications (“SOQs”) to be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Municipal Complex, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, as outlined below: Solicitation: RFQ# 2025-094 On-Call Facilities Geotechnical and Materials Testing Professional Services Specifications may be downloaded at www.sanmarcostx.gov/eprocurement . Vendors must register to download information. All addenda, proposal tabulations, etc. can be downloaded at the above site. A mandatory, in person pre-proposal conference for this Project will be held on August 25, 2026, at 9AM, Local Time, at City of San Marcos Public Services Complex, 2217 E McCarty Ln, Admin Conference Room 103, San Marcos, Texas 78666. Attendance in person is required for all prospective Respondents. Firms that do not attend the mandatory conference will not be eligible to submit a Response under this RFQ. SOQs must be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 3, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, no later than September 17, 2026, 2PM, Local Time. SOQs will be publicly acknowledged via video conference immediately thereafter. Video conference link is provided in solicitation documents. Award is scheduled for the December 1, 2026, City Council meeting at 6PM, Local Time, or any subsequent time unless otherwise rescheduled.
