Justification for Other Than Full and Open - Pregnancy Mortality Surveillance System – Texas

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) awarded Contract No. 75D30126P21489 to the Texas Department of State Health Services for the Pregnancy Mortality Surveillance System – Texas. The contract was awarded on a sole-source basis pursuant to RFO FAR 6.103-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The requirement is for the identification and provision of Texas vital records necessary to support CDC's Pregnancy Mortality Surveillance System. The Texas Department of State Health Services is the sole legal custodian and authoritative source of the required Texas vital records. Market research confirmed that the required records are maintained exclusively by the State of Texas and are not available from other sources in the required format. The contract includes a 12-month Base Period and four 12-month Option Periods. The Base Period value is $8,626.85, and the total potential contract value, $43,134.25. In accordance with RFO Part 6, the approved Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC) is being made publicly available with this notice. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The contract has already been awarded, and the Government is not soliciting or accepting proposals in response to this notice. This notice is being published solely to provide public notice of the award and the associated Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC).
