Description

NOTICE OF INTENT: The Medical Readiness Contracting Office – West (MRCO-W), JBSA Fort Sam Houston, TX intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) sole source purchase order to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Willed Body Program, Dallas TX. under the authority of RFO Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.102(a) For acquisitions valued at or below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name or industrial mobilization, for the Combat Paramedic Program at the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE), JBSA San Antonio, Texas 78234. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 621991, and the size standard is $40M. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which should be considered by the agency before the intended award date. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored because of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquiries will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The MRCO-West, JBSA Fort Sam Houston, TX intends to make a sole source award on or before 1 September 2026.
