Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 1240LP26Q0138 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Black Hills National Forest, which is requiring two (2) new electronic highway message boards utilized for prescribed burns or wildfires where information should be posted during an incident for firefighter and public safety. These electronic highway message boards must be operable and functional upon delivery or after first set up, must meet the minimum specifications in the solicitation, and be delivered within the time frame given. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 339950. The small business size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. See Attachment 1 - Solicitation Terms and Conditions for applicable clauses, instructions, and evaluation criteria. See Attachment 2 for the minimum specifications and Schedule of Items. If submitting a quotation package, please include a signed SF1449 (fill out blocks 17 and 30a-c), include a completed Schedule of Items, and submit a Technical proposal with details on your proposed products and product literature.
