Suffolk Drive Drainage Improvements

The project site is located on Suffolk Drive in the Richmond Hills subdivision off North U.S. Hwy 25 in Greenville, South Carolina. The project site occupies land on the County right of way and on private properties. The main purpose of the project is to improve the drainage system on the roads and between the homes. The work consists of the demolition/removal of trees, fences, walls and pavement and the installation of new storm drainage lines and catch basins. Replacement of driveways, fences, and asphalt pavement will follow installation of the drainage system. Site stabilization shall include fine grading and grassing or placement of pine straw on the disturbed areas. The County shall provide staking of the new storm drainage system including alignments and elevations, therefore, a line item for construction staking is not included in the bid schedule.
