Carbon dioxide gas analyzer

Carbon Dioxide Gas Analyzers for CDC/NIOSH respiratory health and safety research. The instruments will be used to support air quality evaluation in occupational environments, with particular emphasis on enclosed cab environments where carbon dioxide levels can affect ventilation assessment and worker protection. The acquisition is being pursued because accurate, stable, and continuous carbon dioxide measurement is needed to evaluate air quality conditions, assess ventilation performance, and support research related to worker exposure and respiratory health in enclosed spaces. The items must provide precise carbon dioxide monitoring across a range of 0 to 10,000 parts per million, with the sensitivity and stability needed for research-quality measurements. Its low detection limit, stable performance, and multiple communication and output options will support integration into laboratory and field research setups and improve the ability to collect reliable data during air quality and ventilation studies. This capability will strengthen CDC/NIOSH efforts to evaluate enclosed cab environments and other occupational settings where carbon dioxide monitoring can help identify conditions that may reduce air quality or indicate inadequate ventilation.
