YORK BIKE SHARE PROGRAM

The City of York, Pennsylvania (the “City”), through its Department of Public Works, is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide a turnkey bike share system serving residents, employees, students, and visitors throughout the City of York. The selected vendor (“Vendor” or “Proposer”) shall provide all equipment, software, operations, maintenance, customer support, reporting, insurance, and related services necessary to implement and operate the York Bike Share Program. Services shall be available to the public on a 24-hour, 7-day-per-week basis. The anticipated contract term shall be three (3) years, with the City reserving the right to negotiate up to three (3) additional one (1) year renewal terms, subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance of the Vendor. The City anticipates a phased implementation and expansion of the system over a three-to-five-year period. Interested firms shall submit proposals in accordance with the requirements contained in this Request for Proposals.
