Historical Design Services

The Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC) manages about 40 historic sites and museums which includes approximately 500 structures throughout the state. The Division of Architecture and Preservation (Division) is responsible for providing a variety of architectural and engineering design, project management and support services for these facilities. The Division is seeking to increase its capability to manage the volume and scope of needs by contracting for architectural and engineering design, project management and related consultant services through an ITQ process. The work will be limited to design services for the preservation, restoration, repair and maintenance of historic structures administered by PHMC. The Division is seeking qualified historical design businesses with extensive experience and expertise in preservation, restoration, repair and maintenance of historic structures.
