PROJECT NUMBER: DGS C-0583-0025 Phase 1 PROJECT TITLE: Ebensburg Center – Water Upgrades Study PROJECT LOCATION: PO Box 600, Admiral Peary Highway, Ebensburg, PA 15931 This Project is advertising for PROFESSIONAL SELECTIONS for design and/or engineering services. BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The scope of work is intended to address the aging water distribution system that serves the Ebensburg Center campus. The project will begin with a comprehensive investigation and assessment of the existing water distribution system, identifying components for repair or replacement, including but not limited to an assessment of system’s ability to handle increased water pressure from additional sprinkler systems and the ability of the system to provide service in the event of an outage. Following the conclusion of the study, the Department may decide to continue directly into the design phase of improvement project(s). The Department may retain the same professional who performed the study. Subsequent improvement project(s) may include Small Diverse Business (SDB) and Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) participation requirements that will be established by the Department following the study conclusion. The Professional is encouraged to retain SDB/VBE consultants who can continue into the design phase. ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION COST: TBD. APPLICATION DUE DATE WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2026, AT 4:30 P.M. The Department of General Services Capital Programs and the Office of Business Inclusion and Supplier Development identified this procurement as eligible for the setting of Small Diverse Business (SDB) and/or Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) participation goals.
