The principal items of work and approximate quantities are: Clean out and plug four (4) orphan gas wells, estimated to be 1800-2200 feet in depth, to Department specifications. Prepare and restore well sites/site. Mobilize and demobilize plugging equipment. Beginning on the Issue Date, free copies of bid documents can be obtained by going to www.BidExpress.com, PA Department of Environmental Protection. MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE is scheduled for July 14, 2026, at 10 a.m. Representatives from the Department will meet the contractors at Hilltop Volunteer Fire Department, 4351 PA-646, Cyclone, PA 16726. FAILURE TO ATTEND THE PRE-BID CONFERENCE WILL BE CAUSE FOR REJECTION OF THE BID.
