The principal items of work and approximate quantities are: Clean out and plug twenty-four (24) orphan gas wells, estimated to be 1400-1700 feet in depth, to Department specifications. Prepare and restore well sites/site. Mobilize and demobilize plugging equipment. Beginning on the Issue Date, free copies of bid documents can be obtained by going to www.BidExpress.com, PA Department of Environmental Protection. MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE is scheduled for June 23, 2026 at 10 a.m. Representatives from the Department will meet the contractors at Powerhouse Historic Site on SR321, 41.8516, -78.8242. FAILURE TO ATTEND THE PRE-BID CONFERENCE WILL BE CAUSE FOR REJECTION OF THE BID.
