The principal items of work and approximate quantities are: Clean out and plug twenty-three (23) orphan gas wells, estimated to be 1,000-3,600 feet in depth, to Department specifications. Prepare and restore well sites/site. Mobilize and demobilize plugging equipment. Beginning on the Issue Date, free copies of bid documents can be obtained by going to www.BidExpress.com, PA Department of Environmental Protection. MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE is scheduled for October 7, 2026, and October 8, 2026, at 9 a.m. Representatives from the Department will meet the contractors at Gumtown Memorial Park, 240 Water Street, New Bethlehem, PA 16242. FAILURE TO ATTEND THE PRE-BID CONFERENCE WILL BE CAUSE FOR REJECTION OF THE BID.
