The principal items of work and approximate quantities are: Clean out and plug twenty-two (22) orphan gas wells, estimated to be 1,200-1,600 feet in depth, to Department specifications. Prepare and restore well sites/site. Mobilize and demobilize plugging equipment. Beginning on the Issue Date, free copies of bid documents can be obtained by going to www.BidExpress.com, PA Department of Environmental Protection. MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE is scheduled for August 18, 2026, at 10 a.m. Representatives from the Department will meet the contractors at Cheez’s Garage, 58 Chesebro Lane, Smethport, PA 16749. FAILURE TO ATTEND THE PRE-BID CONFERENCE WILL BE CAUSE FOR REJECTION OF THE BID.
