PRESOLICITATION NOTICE – INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE TO STRAVAL MACHINE CO INC. W9127N26QA146 – PURCHASE OF CUSTOMIZED, EXTREME-PRESSURE FLUID AND GAS CONTROL COMPONENTS The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division (NWD), Portland District intends to issue a commercial request for services for customized components: three (3) 3000 psi relief valves, three (3) 3000 psi basket strainers, and three (3) 6000 psi check valves. The solicitation will be issued as a single source to Straval Machine CO INC, a Small Business under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 332911 – Industrial Valve Manufacturing and the applicable Small Business Size Standard, as established by the U.S. Small Business Administration, is 750 employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 4820 – Valves, Nonpowered. In accordance with (IAW) Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) FAR 12.102(a), for acquisitions at or below the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT) the government may document the decision that only one source is available and IAW RFO FAR 201-1(c)(2), the Government may solicit quotations directly from suppliers for an acquisition at or below the SAT. Solicitation issue date is anticipated to be on or about: 26-August-2026 Solicitation close date is anticipated to be on or about: 02-September-2026 The resulting contract will be issued on a Firm-Fixed Price basis with a 60-day period of performance expected.
