Roundabout Design Services

The City of Henderson, Nevada, is requesting professional design services for the evaluation and retrofit of roundabouts in the City of Henderson, Nevada. The roundabout locations to be evaluated include: 1) Serene Avenue - All roundabouts between St Rose Parkway and Eastern Avenue 2) Heather Drive / Greenway Road 3) Mission Drive / Greenway Road 4) Racetrack Road / Newport Drive 5) Nevada State Drive / Paradise Hills Drive 6) Montelago Boulevard / Lake Las Vegas Parkway 7) Water Street / Galleria Drive 8) Water Street /Taylor Street The initial retrofit activities will include mounding and landscaping at the center of each roundabout with project funding determining the other improvements to be installed in this phase. The selected team will be tasked with enhancing the center circle of the roundabout with landscaping and mounding, determining design deficiencies at each roundabout, estimating the costs necessary to fix the deficiencies, recommending and prioritizing improvements based on their relative importance, preparing a strategy to implement the required improvements, and preparing bid documents for the selected improvements. Final deliverables may vary and will be negotiated with the selected consultant.
