3289L South Boulevard 2745 Zone Reservoir Inlet/Outlet Pipeline

Las Vegas Valley Water District invites qualified firms (Bidders) to submit Bids for the following Work, see Contract Documents for full details. The Site of the Work is located southwest of Las Vegas Boulevard within the Clark County and City of Henderson jurisdictions. The point of connection for the pipeline is located approximately 850 feet east of the intersection of W Welpman Way and Las Vegas Boulevard. The alignment will go through existing BLM Grants, Private Easements, and Patent Easements to the South Boulevard 2745 Zone Reservoir site (3288L), which is located on A.P.N. 191-30-501-005. Additionally, the project will include Work at the 2860 Zone South Pumping Station and Forebay which is located on Highland Crown Rd on the west side of the Southern Highlands residential community (A.P.N. 191-07-101-002). The project consists of installing approximately 18,000 linear feet of 42-inch-diameter mortar-lined, tape-wrapped, and mortar-coated steel pipe, including communications infrastructure consisting of fiber optic conduit, pull boxes, and necessary appurtenances along the length of the pipeline. The project will also include construction/installation of four 42-inch butterfly valves, with associated cast-in-place concrete vaults, a sacrificial anode cathodic protection system, and other water pipeline appurtenances. Additionally, the project will remove an existing 12-inch gate valve and replace it with a 12-inch butterfly valve located within an existing vault at the 2860 Zone South Pumping Station and Forebay. The project will also include electrical/communications improvements for the new valves. Engineer’s Estimate is: $ 28,203,225.00
