Description
The City of Gallup is soliciting proposals from qualified Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firms to provide turnkey delivery of a new 115 kV to 13.2 kV, 30 MVA electrical substation located in the Carbon Coal Road area. The selected contractor shall serve as the single point of responsibility for all phases of project delivery, including engineering and design, permitting and regulatory coordination, equipment procurement, site development, civil and electrical construction, installation, testing, commissioning, startup, project management, training, and project closeout necessary to deliver a fully operational substation. The project is a key capital improvement initiative intended to improve electric system reliability, increase system capacity, accommodate future load growth, and support continued economic development within the City of Gallup and the surrounding service area. The City seeks a highly qualified EPC contractor capable of providing a fully integrated, constructible, and schedule-driven solution while maintaining clear accountability for project quality, budget, schedule, safety, and successful project execution from initial design through final acceptance.
