Hauling and Disposal of Grit Entrained Sludge

ACUA is soliciting bids for the on-call pickup, transportation, lawful disposal, cleaning, and return of 25 cubic yard roll off vacuum containers holding grit entrained, gravity thickened raw primary sludge. The material is generated when elevated grit loading during high flow events requires primary sludge to be diverted to an offline tank, settled, and decanted before transfer to the containers. Reliable and timely removal is essential to continued wastewater treatment operations. The Contractor shall provide complete service despite storms, equipment failures, staffing shortages, disposal facility limitations, or obligations to other customers. Time is of the essence for every service deadline stated herein.
