Description
SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: Note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals; the 55th Contracting Squadron, Offutt Air Force Base, NE, is seeking information for market research purposes only for the following services listed below: Please see desired specifications in Statement of Need attachment. The designated NAICS Code is 611430 - Professional and Management Development Training IF A SOLICITATION IS ISSUED IT WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT A LATER DATE, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Description: The contractor shall provide one (1) new Aircraft Deicing Training Simulator, specifically the Global Ground Support "Cab Stand Package" or an equivalent system that meets or exceeds the following specifications. The system must be a complete, turn-key solution including all necessary hardware, software, and training. Hardware Requirements The simulator shall include the following integrated components: Simulator Stand: An authentic replica of a deicer truck operator cab, including a functional operator seat, steering wheel, pedals, and mounted PQ control joysticks. Computer System: A high-performance computer system with all necessary software pre-installed and configured to run the simulation. Monitor/TV/Audio: A monitor or screen at least 40 inches with speakers, mounted on the cab stand to allow trainers to view what the student is seeing and hearing in real time. Keyboard/Mouse: To operate the system. VR Headset: To work in conjunction with the simulator for a high fidelity training experience. Software and Training Scenario Requirements The simulator software must provide realistic training capabilities, including: One Software License: One time purchase. Update Graphic Unit: A high-performance GPU capable of supporting the simulator. Deicing Scenarios: A library of pre-built scenarios for various aircraft and weather conditions. Emergency Scenarios: Scenarios designed to train operators on handling emergency situations. Customizable Scenarios: The ability for instructors to create and modify training scenarios to meet specific needs. Performance Monitoring: The system shall record and allow for playback of training sessions for after-action review and debriefing. Training and Support The contractor shall provide: On-site Training: Setup and on-site training for system administrators for up to 8 hours. Warranty: Limited warranty is for one (1) year parts only. Delivery and Installation The contractor shall be responsible for the delivery and complete installation of the simulator at Offutt Air Force Base. Delivery Address: DoDAAC FU4600. The system is expected to be delivered within 120 days after receipt of order (ARO).
