The City of Rocky Mount Wastewater Treatment Division is seeking quotations for the supply of replacement pump parts necessary to support the continued operation and maintenance of existing pump equipment at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. All parts provided under this RFQ must be compatible with existing **Gorman-Rupp pump equipment currently in operation at the facility. Parts shall be OEM Gorman-Rupp components or approved equal that meet or exceed the manufacturer’s specifications for fit, material, durability, and operational performance. Vendors proposing equivalent products must clearly identify the manufacturer, model, and part number of the proposed item and provide sufficient documentation demonstrating compatibility with existing equipment. The City reserves the right to determine whether a proposed equivalent product meets the requirements of this RFQ and may reject any substitution that does not meet the City’s operational needs. All components supplied must be new, unused, and free from defects. Used, refurbished, or reconditioned parts will not be accepted. The vendor shall be responsible for ensuring that all quoted items are available for delivery within the timeframe stated in their quotation. Vendors must provide a firm delivery commitment for all parts listed. Any items subject to extended manufacturer lead times or backorder must be clearly identified in the vendor’s response. The City intends to award this quotation to one vendor capable of supplying all listed parts. Partial quotations may be considered non-responsive. All parts shall be delivered to the following location: City of Rocky Mount Wastewater Treatment Plant 3031 Treatment Plant Road Rocky Mount, NC 27801 All shipments shall be properly packaged to prevent damage during transport.
