Description
Exterior restoration of building envelope. New accessible front Pioneers Building entry preserves existing historic stoop. Updates to building systems to support new and existing primary function of programmed spaces, including electrical, mechanical, IT, AV, fire alarm, security, and plumbing. Interior renovations provide new finishes throughout, as well as acoustic enhancements in the multi-purpose room. Existing history room to receive new exhibit content. Multi-purpose space has alternate to install raised access flooring which would eliminate need for interior ramping for accessibility and provide underfloor building systems distribution. Base bid and alternate designs are provided for the history room and catering kitchen. The building will be fully ADA compliant following renovation. Sitework will include a new playground, splash pad, parking lot rework, parking lot lighting, irrigation, stormwater treatment and service upgrades.
